""... Investigators are giving her a little bit of time to get her thoughts together, remember that she was abducted, held captive for three weeks, which is very traumatizing," said Sheriff Tom Bosenko, "And often times the human mind will block out things and information from traumatizing events, but if given a little bit of time we can get some more information out of her, hopefully, and the investigators will be speaking with her today."
We only have sketchy information so far. They know that Sherri was abducted and held captive for three weeks by two Hispanic women in a dark colored SUV. "

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showth ... 6-9/page23. Siskon voimallinen/impulsiivinen ilostuminen tapahtuu videolla kohdassa, joka alleviivattuna.
Reporter: I know you mentioned she was back with Keith…has she been reunited with the kids yet?
Sheila: That's not a question that I have an answer to at this time.
Reporter: How is she doing physically? We understand that she had some injuries.
Sheila: She's very excited to be home. So that's all that I can say at this time.
Reporter: You said that social media played a role in possibly Her release. How did that play a role in the case?
Sheila: I don't have any details into the case. I just know that getting her face out there was the best thing that anyone could do.
Reporter: Where were you and when did you learn of the good news?
Sheila: I heard on Thanksgiving morning that she was found.
Reporter: Did ransom play a role?
Sheila: I don't have any details of the case that's going on at the moment.
Reporter: Have you seen her, and if so, could you describe the reunion, what that was like?
Sheila: I've seen her and it was a very joyous reunion and we were just very very excited to see one another.
Reporter: Have you been able to talk to the people that she flagged down on Thanksgiving morning? Did she or you, anybody have a message for them?
Sheila: I know that we're just very excited that somebody was able to come in contact with her. And we appreciate all the help that everyone has given.
Reporter: What is your hope, there are, according to her, two women out there, what is your hope? Do you hope we catch them? They are considered dangerous, I imagine.
Sheila: I don't know any details of any part of the investigation that's going on and I'm just concerned with the healing of my sister.
Reporter: Has she said anything about anything that she went through those 22 days that she was missing?
Sheila: We were just joyous to see one another.
Reporter: It happened so close to her home. Is she there, or is she afraid to be in that area right now?
Sheila: That was not a conversation that we had.
Reporter: I know that she was a dedicated mother. Was she employed in some other fashion? And second, that, as a family have you have you been discussing who may have had a motive to do something like this?
Sheila: That would be a question I would ask Shasta County sheriff's office.
Reporter: Was she employed?
Sheila: I don't have an answer to that question.
Reporter: What is she doing today? What's her day like today?
Sheila: I know…I don't know what she's doing at this time. I know that she's with Keith and that they're being reunited.
Reporter: When will she return home?
Sheila: I don't know where they are at this time.
Reporter: And she hasn't been reunited with her children yet?
Sheila: I know she's been reunited with Keith.
Reporter: What have the last three weeks been like for you and your family?
Sheila: It's been a range of emotions and sadness, anger…right now it's just joy — lots and lots of joy that she's here with us.
Reporter: Do Her children understand that she's back home?
Sheila: I can't answer that question. I don't know.
I want to thank everyone for coming.

".... "We currently have no reason to disbelieve Sherri Papini's story, Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko said on Sunday. "She was assaulted and had injuries which she was treated for."
The Sheriff also said that investigators are looking into past incidents with Sherri Papini and are aware of her previous marriage and divorce and are checking into her past, including any online activity.
Investigators put out 20 warrants for data including surveillance cameras and cell towers. The camera footage, from locations in Yolo County and the city of Redding, include homes, business, a church, motels and traffic cameras. ...."

4. Lisätietoa tullut esiin Papinin löytymisestä tieltä, oheisessa linkissä
http://abcnews.go.com/US/911-caller-mis ... d=43819168 911- puhelu ilmentää että Papini oli tieltä löydettäessä sidottuna neljannestuuman paksuiseen kettinkiin ja ranteistaan letkunkiristimiin ("chained with a quarter inch heavy chain and hose clamps on her wrists") .
"I saw a woman with long blond hair by the side of the road kind of frantically waving what looked like a shirt," the driver, Alison Sutton, told ABC News. "I figured if she was willing to risk being hit by a car, she must really need help."
"After being released, dropped off, however you want to refer to it, she walked to a nearby church, and then nobody was there, and then walked to I-5 near Road 17, where she flagged down a motorist."
While the same dispatch reports indicated she was "heavily battered," Bosenko also would not specify what kind of injuries Papini had. He said she was treated and released.
"We're not providing the details, other than they were non-life threatening and that she was treated and released," he said of the injuries.
Alison Sutton, a driver who said she saw Papini on the side of the road and called 911, told the New York Daily News that Papini "didn't look like she was hurt, but she did look scared."
Huom.
" While the same dispatch reports indicated she was "heavily battered," Bosenko also would not specify what kind of injuries Papini had. But he did confirm the type of injuries that get someone "treated and released," as Papini was.
"When you say, 'treated and released' ... no different than if you went up to the ER for a sprained ankle, they treated you and released you. Now, if you had a compound fracture due to that bone being broken, then you'd probably be admitted, have to stay for a few days," Bosenko explained.
He also said his earlier use of the word "assault" to describe Papini's injuries was based on the "heavily battered" comment.
"We're not providing the details, other than they were non-life threatening and that she was treated and released," he said of the injuries. "

Ktaina on aiemmalla lyhyemmällä postauksellaan ilmituonut seuraavasta pidennetystä versiosta ilmeneviä seikkoja. Tässä linkissä
http://www.redding.com/news/local/Keith ... 78496.html Keith Papinin graafisempi kuvaus asioista, antamansa lausunto siellä myös kokonaisuudessaan. Samassa linkissä seriffi sanoo olleensa tietoinen Keith Papinin kertomista yksityiskohdista, mutta etteivät (ymmärtääkseni viittaus virkavaltaan) olleet päästäneet niitä julkisuuteen. Avaan osaa teksistä :
"But Keith Papini’s statement of his wife’s condition was far more graphic, coinciding with initial Yolo County dispatch reports that Sherri Papini was “heavily battered.”
“Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see upon my arrival at the hospital, nor the details of the true hell I was about to hear. The mental prison I was in over the past three weeks was shattered when my questions of my wife’s reality became known,” Keith Papini said. “The officers warned me to brace myself. My first sight was my wife in a hospital bed, her face covered in bruises ranging from yellow to black because of repeated beatings, the bridge of her nose broken.
Sherri Papini weighed 87 pounds, was covered in “bruises, red rashes and chain markings,” and “her signature long, blond hair had been chopped off,” Keith Papini said.
“She has been branded and I could feel the rise of her scabs under my fingers. She was thrown from a vehicle with a chain around her waist, attached to her wrists and a bag over her head. The same bag she used to flag someone down once she was able to free one of her hands,” he said.
CBS News also reported that, while Bosenko appeared to confirm Keith Papini’s account of his wife’s injuries, Bosenko “wasn’t able to confirm Keith Papini’s account of the woman being thrown from a moving vehicle, saying the information he had indicated the woman was dropped off, bound, by her captors.”
Investigators interviewed Sherri Papini the day she was found and again on Monday and Tuesday, Bosenko said.
So far, all they’ve released from those interviews is a rough description of her suspected abductions: two Hispanic women with a gun driving a dark SUV.
“Our investigators are still trying to obtain specific details on the suspects,” Bosenko said. “Once the sheriff’s office, our investigators, obtain more specific information on her abductors or captors, we’ll put that information out to the public.”
People released one new detail from the interviews on Tuesday: that Bosenko said only one of the two women released Papini. "
Virkavalta ei ollut innoissaan Keith Papinin avoimesta tiedottamisesta, hän (K.P) kertoi julkisuuteen tapukseen liittyviä olennaisia seikkoja (key pieces of information). Virkavalta olisi halunnut pitää (omaa huomiota: varmaan tutkinnan kannalta) ainutlaatuisen informaation poissa julkisuudesta. :
" Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko said he was "blindsided" by Keith Papini's statement issued Tuesday that included key pieces of information in the case.
Sheriff Bosenko said he learned of the statement only an hour before he was expected to appear on Good Morning America Tuesday morning where he was questioned by George Stephanopolous.
Lieutenant Anthony Bertain, the head of the Investigations Division at the Shasta County Sheriff's Office, said he understood the need for Keith to set the story straight from rampant social media but that investigators were "surprised" by his statement. Bertain added they were disappointed Keith went into so much detail by releasing key pieces of information, like Sherri was branded.
"There's some unique information in there that was in his press release today that we were hoping to keep a tight rein on as far as what we were going to release to the public" Bertain said. "It's not the first hurdle in this investigation that we've had, we've overcome many of them, not just in this case, but there's surprises in all investigations, so this is just..wasn't good timing."
Sheriff Bosenko said Sherri Papini was interviewed by investigators again Tuesday afternoon and the Sheriff's Department hopes to release more detailed information about the two Hispanic women who held Sherri captive at a press conference Wednesday. "
http://www.krcrtv.com/news/local/shasta ... /191592075
Huom. Näin seriffi kommentoi Keith Papinin kertomaan brändäykseen/merkintään (branding, epämääräinen termi joka voi tarkoittaa tatuoimista, polttomerkintää, neuloilla/veitsellä yms merkitsemistä jne), joka sisälsi viestin/sanoman:
" Among her injuries, Papini, a 34-year-old mother of two, had a message branded on her, Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko told ABC News.
"I would think that that was some sort of either an exertion of power and control and/or maybe some type of message that the brand contained," he said on ABC News' "Good Morning America." "It is not a symbol, but it was a message."
""Obviously, a very sick person who may have wanted to not only to cut it off to change her physical appearance but also as to humiliate them, wear her down," Bosenko said.
Huom.
"The Sheriff said: ‘There was a post under her maiden name of Graeff and that was posted, kind of like a little bit of history of her growing up and then some cruelty that may have occurred to her father and that she was basically proud to be white. It was on some sort of skinheads website.
‘We will be investigating that (racial) aspect of the post but we do not have any information that that post was related to her abduction, one way or the other.’
While the Sheriff said his officers did not have any other evidence of any racial motive in the kidnapping, he added: ‘We’ll definitely look in to it to see if it will have a nexus in the case, but it is very early on. This is an open and ongoing investigation.’
//
"DailyMail.com has learned that the post was not written by Sherri Papini, but, according to her ex-husband, was in fact a malicious prank against her by a high school enemy.
Papini’s ex-husband David Dreyfus, who divorced Papini in 2007, told DailyMail.com: ‘That post isn’t true, it was a prank by someone at high school, she never found out who did it. Sherri isn’t racist.’
David said he met Sherri when they were both working on a Youth to Youth project, a community-based drug prevention and youth leadership program.
He said: ‘The crowd couldn’t have been more diverse. That’s not who Sherri is.’ "
