SAKSA 15-vuotias Rebecca Reusch nähtiin elossa viimeksi 18. helmikuuta. Poliisi pidätti jo langon epäiltynä, mutta tuomioistuin päästi miehen vapaalle jalalle perjantaina.

Äiti soitti reilua tuntia myöhemmin vävylleen ja pyysi Rebeccaa puhelimeen, mutta vävy kertoi tytön poistuneen jo asunnolta. Myöhemmin kävi ilmi, ettei Rebecca saapunut kouluun. Kun tyttöä ei kuulunut koulupäivän jälkeen kotiin eikä hän ollut hakenut yöpymiseen tarvittavia tavaroitaan sisarensa luota, ilmoittivat vanhemmat hänet kadonneeksi.
Poliisi on Local-sivuston mukaan varma, ettei tyttö poistunut sisarensa perheen asunnosta elossa. Asunnosta on kadonnut myös violetti fleeceviltti.

TYTÖN lanko pidätettiin kymmenen päivää tytön katoamisen jälkeen, koska tämän epäillään liittyvän murhaan. Bildin mukaan miehen auton takaluukusta oli löydetty Rebeccan hius sekä fleecevilttiin liittyviä kuituja.
Miehen omistama vadelmanpunainen Renault Twingo -merkkinen henkilöauto oli lisäksi nähty A12-moottoritiellä samana aamuna, jolloin Rebecca katosi sekä päivää myöhemmin. Saksan poliisi on pyytänyt yleisöltä havaintoja auton liikkeistä.

When will the case of missing Rebecca be filed? It is clear: around 2,000 references have been received so far, most of them after the broadcast of the ZDF program "Aktenzeichen XY".
