19-vuotias Omar Majed on pidätetty ilmeisesti epäiltynä siitä, että on antanut väärää tietoa (huijaus) mahdollisesta pommi-uhasta koomikko Peter Kayn viime perjantaisesta keikalla. Tapahtuma keskeytyi ja yleisö poistettiin salista, ja lopulta selvisi, että mitään pommia ei ollutkaan. Jokin epäilyttävä laukku oli löytynyt mutta ei tosiaan mitään varsinaista uhkaa ollut kuitenkaan.
Brittien terrori-uhkataso nostettiin juuri vuorokautta aiemmin "vakavaksi" (severe - an attack is highly likely), joten tämän perusteella tuli mieleen, että olikohan kyse vain typerästä tempusta vai jonkinlaisesta testistä?
Nostohan tapahtui sen jälkeen kun Lontoossa Golders Greenin alueella kahta juutalaista oli puukotettu keskellä vilkasta katua. Tekijä on britti, jolla on somalitausta, nimeltään Essa Suleiman. Molemmat uhrit ovat elossa.
Tapauksesta löytyy videota, ja esimerkiksi Vihreiden johtaja Zack Polanski oli ehtinyt jakamaan kommentin, jossa poliisin voimankäyttöä oli arvosteltu tapauksessa. Pyyteli myöhemmin anteeksi.

Omar Majed, from Birmingham, gave no indication of plea to a charge of communicating false information to police and was remanded in custody at the city's magistrates' court.
The court heard Majed "barged" his way into Birmingham's Utilita Arena without a ticket on Friday and allegedly indicated to a police constable and others that a bomb may have been left at the venue.
Majed, from Saltley, was removed part-way during the hearing. He is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 1 June.
Thousands of fans had to be evacuated from the premises and alleged hoax had "serious repercussions" at an event with an expected crowd of almost 13,000 people, prosecutor Ros Buttler told the court.
The charge against Majed alleges that he communicated to a police officer and others information, which he knew or believed to be false, that a bomb was present in the arena.
During the short hearing at the court, Majed, of Graham Road, was repeatedly asked to be quiet by District Judge Michelle Smith and asked to continue sitting down.
After protesting that proposed bail conditions for him were "not acceptable" he was taken down to the cells before the end of the hearing.
Kay was removed from the stage about 45 minutes into his set part of his "Better Late Than Never" national tour.
West Midlands Police later said "nothing suspicious was found" during searches of the venue.
